Wessix Resin and Adhesives
The Managing Director of Wessex Resins and Adhesives contacted us about to find the most cost effective way to generate electricity at their manufacturing plant in Romsey in addition to helping the company become a little greener!
Wessex Resin and Adhesives has been developing and manufacturing high-quality epoxy products since 1981. During that time they have worked with a large range of organisations including the ministry of defence, London underground, Bombardier and BAE systems.
The installation comprises of 351 Trina 425 black panels, 3x 50W Solaredge Invertors and a dedicated consumer unit and will generate approximately 150,000kWh per year.
The main electrical plant room unfortunately wasn't big enough to house all the components. With this being said, we erected a stud wall above the plant room so we were able to mount the units and feed directly into the room.
Wessex Resin and Adhesives are now saving over 65% a year on their electrical bill and hope that payback on the project will be approximately 5 years.
