Solar Installation Process
We’re going to outline an installation process from first contact to site visit to commissioning on a typical domestic premises*:
THE FIRST CONTACT:
This is the very first contact ever made to us. We try to respond within 24 hours (usually quicker). At this point we arrange a site visit to fit around you.
THE SITE VISIT:
At the site visit one of the team will come round and meet you, survey the house and see what your expectations, wants and needs are. We will also talk through briefly around where products may go. (inverter/battery)
24/48 HOURS AFTER SITE VISIT:
You will receive your bespoke proposal, laying out the installation costs, including saving’s you can make, and products being used. This is also where you will be able to see your ‘payback’ on the installation.
AFTER QUOTE CALL:
After a couple of days we will touch base with you to find out if you have any further questions on the bespoke proposal. We then arrange a start date to fit around you.
DAY ONE:
The scaffolding will arrive and be erected.
DAY TWO:
Gecko renewable energy team will be on site, along with materials. On this day we will be getting the panels placed on the roof and starting the electrical installation side. (This can vary depending on property size).
DAY THREE:
We get the system commissioned for you, and ensure you mobile app is working so you can monitor your system and you can see exactly how much you are saving!
DAY FOUR:
Scaffold comes down! You will never know we were there, until you check your energy bills at the end of every month and see how much you’re now saving!
Typically most installations take no longer than a week, with most being completed in just a couple of days.
*Timings may differ depending on the size of the installation
